Jacqueline Lopez keyed the Coyotes with three hits and
Alyssa Flores had two RBI, but it wasn't enough as Cal State San Bernardino lost to No. 5 Cal State Dominguez Hills 6-3 in the opener of Saturday's softball doubleheader.
The Coyotes were defeated 10-0 in a game that called after five innings in the second game.
CSUSB (8-14 overall, 5-7 CCAA) plays at Sonoma State next week.

Down 5-2 through two innings, the Coyotes closed the gap with a two-run third.
Jamie Leffingwell's double down the left-field line scored
Jacqueline Lopez, who singled. One batter later, Flores connected on a single to right that scored Leffingwell.

Victoria Lievanos went 2-for-2, but the Coyotes could not get on track.
Leading 1-0 through two innings, the Toros scored seven in the third and added two in the fourth.
Darian Manuz, Flores and Leffingwell accounted for the other Coyotes' hits.
