Chelsey Jones, offered a shutout of their own in a 0-0 draw at Premier Field.
CSUSB, 9-5-3 overall and 9-5-2 CCAA, picked up a point in the conference standings and now owns a three-point advantage over Cal State L.A. (24-21) and a four-point lead over UC San Diego (20) heading into this week's final week of play.
The season comes to this point – another CSUSB win clinches a CCAA Tournament berth in Turlock on Nov. 8-10. The Coyotes play host to Chico State on Friday and are at San Francisco State on Sunday as the best third-place UCSD could reach is 26 points.
The Coyotes have now gone scoreless in their last 290-plus minutes and will have to find some answers on the offensive end.

But her shot was straight at the Toros GK and she deftly made the save.
The shutout was Jones' 18
th in her career and that sets a school record. She surpassed Laura Lyons, who had 17 (2006-09). She had five saves.
