Box Score SAN BERNARDINO – The CCAA-South leading Coyotes looked to gain some distance from the pack in their game against the South's second-best team in Cal State L.A. on Friday afternoon.
But it was the Golden Eagles who closed the gap on the Coyotes' lead when Andrea Lammers connected on a goal in the 80
th minute that was the difference maker in a 1-0 CSULA victory.
CSUSB dropped to 9-5-2 overall and 7-4-2 in the CCAA, just one point ahead of the Golden Eagles, who are now 8-4-3 and 6-4-3.
The Coyotes were out-shot 17-9 and had just four shots on goal against CSULA's Yi Du.
Chelsey Jones had seven saves on the day.
