Coyotes can't catch a break

Box Score LA JOLLA – The breaks are not going the Coyotes' way as UC San Diego earned a 1-0 victory off a penalty in their CCAA men's soccer game Friday night.

The loss was the seventh straight for the Coyotes (4-7-2, 2-7 CCAA), who resume play Sunday afternoon at Cal Poly Pomona.

In the 73rd minutes, CSUSB's Andy Reyes was called for a foul and UCSD's Andisheh Bagheri converted the PK for the game's only goal.

The Coyotes had four shots on goal against UCSD's Josh Cohen and totaled 12 shots for the game.

The 6th-ranked Tritons improved to 9-1-1, 7-1-1.
