Box Score SAN FRANCISCO -- Junior Nicole Chapple keyed the Coyotes on Saturday night with 12 points, but it wasn't enough as Cal State San Bernardino was dealt a 52-42 defeat against San Francisco State in CCAA play.

The Coyotes, who lost their fifth straight, are 6-10 overall and 4-8 CCAA heading into next week's games at Cal State L.A. (Friday) and Cal State Dominguez Hills (Saturday).

CSUSB led just once -- 4-2 -- until the Gators scored nine straight points and never looked back as they improved to 9-7, 6-6.

SFSU built its second-half lead to as many as 16 (31-15) before the Coyotes fought back to close within three on an Eliza Dy 3-pointer with 4:37 left and SFSU up, 42-39.

Senior Eliza Dy chipped in 11 points with three 3-pointers.

Nicole Hicks and Farrah Shokoor each had 14 for the Gators.
