TURLOCK
– Junior Ethan Chapman had three RBI and Matt Haney added a solo home run, but it was the Cal State Stanislaus Warriors who earned Sunday's 13-9 victory in the CCAA series finale.

The Coyotes and Warriors split the four-game series as CSUSB now prepares for a weekend slate against Cal State L.A.

All four games will be played at CSUSB's Fiscalini Field as the entire series last year was played in L.A.

The Warriors (6-8 overall, 3-5 CCAA) scored all of their runs in the first five innings including a five-run fifth inning.

Chapman, along with Darren Dworak, Haney and Paul Eshleman, had two hits for the Coyotes (8-9, 5-7).

Senior LHP Josh Lee (1-2) took the loss as he gave up seven hits, six earned runs in 1 1/3 innings.

Reliever Jeff Terzo had three strikeouts and did not give up a run in 2 2/3 innings.
