LOS ANGELES
-- For the second time this season, the Coyotes had a difficult time finding a way to solve Cal State L.A. goalkeeper Gabriella Batmani.

The Golden Eagles scored the game's only goal in the 12th minute from Raquel Gervas in Sunday's CCAA women's soccer.

CSUSB is 7-5-1 overall and 5-5-1 heading into Friday's home game against Chico State.

The only scoring of the game came on a corner kick as CSULA's Megan Ollar sent the ball into play and Gervas' header got past Coyotes' GK Priscilla Collings.

The Coyotes totaled seven shots with three SOG. Kelly Keyes, Melanie Aguayo and Emily Mardon each had one SOG.

Both teams had 12 fouls and CSUSB did not have a corner for the game.

CSULA improved to 6-4-4, 5-4-3.
