TURLOCK
– Senior Angela Streets scored 16 points to lead five Coyotes in double figures as Cal State San Bernardino earned a road weekend split with a 65-59 win over host Cal State Stanislaus in CCAA women's basketball Saturday night.

The Coyotes, now 4-8 overall and 3-5 in the CCAA, return to Coussoulis Arena for a four-game home stand beginning Friday night against Cal State Monterey Bay.

Streets' 16 points and 11 rebounds was her third straight double-double of the season.

But this was a night that was far from a one-player show. Junior Kristen Huffman also had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds as the pair became the first Coyotes' duo to earn a double-double in a game since March 4, 2006, when Tamara Thomas (15 points/10 rebounds) and Christina Day (11 points/12 rebounds) earned the feat against San Francisco State.

Graduate student Eliza Dy had 14 points and junior Jaslyn Cosey had 10 points. Junior Kenisha McKee had 10 points with a season-high five blocks.

The Coyotes outscored the Warriors (4-8, 1-7) 15-0 on 3-pointers.

Trailing 25-22 with 2:51 remaining in the first half, the Coyotes pulled ahead for good utilizing a 9-2 run to close the half. Cosey got the run in gear with a jumper with 2:35. Huffman added two baskets in the stretch as CSUSB took a 31-27 lead into the break.

The Warriors got to within a basket on Rosa Tirado's layup with 8:43 left and CSUSB up 50-48. Dy answered with a 3-pointer that opened a 12-2 run over the next five and a half minutes and the Coyotes did not allow the lead to less than six down the stretch.

The five players in double figures is a first for the Coyotes this season. It also marked the first time that two Coyotes secured more than 10 rebounds apiece in a game in six seasons.

Theresa Henderson led the Warriors with a game-high 24 points
