TURLOCK – The Coyotes completed play Sunday at the Tournament of Champions, hosted by Mizuno with a split day, earning a 2-1 win over Notre Dame de Namur and a 2-0 loss to Cal State Dominguez Hills.
The Coyotes, now 26-15, return to CCAA play this weekend when they play at San Francisco State in a two-day, four-game series that begins Friday.

Sophomore 
Jamie Leffingwell delivered the game-winning RBI in the sixth inning when she laced a two-out double to left that scored 
Courtney Wilhelms.
Leffingwell came through in the second she ripped a run-scoring triple that scored 
Alyssa Flores, who reached on a lead-off walk.
No other Coyote had more than one hit other than Leffingwell.
RHP 
Brianne Godfredson was outstanding in seven innings, striking out seven, walking two and scattering eight hits.

Alex Mitchell and Leffingwell each hit doubles, but the Coyotes had just one other hit and were shutout for the first time since losing 2-0 at Sonoma State on March 5.
Cassidy Lee was the hard-luck loser with five strikeouts and one walk in 5 2/3 innings.
