CARSON --
Brandon Day's two-run home run was the difference maker for the Coyotes and starting pitcher

Sanford (2-1) threw five innings and gave up three hits.
The Coyotes had six hits with designated hitter
Darren Dworak going 2-for-2.
CSUSB stands 11-11 overall and 8-6 in the CCAA as they are now idle until they face San Francisco State on April 1.

Trailing 9-0, the Coyotes scored their runs in the eighth. Newell had a run-scoring single that scored
