Jamie Roland hit a 3-run triple for Cal State San Bernardino, but that would be all the scoring the Coyotes offered in their 7-3 loss in the second game of a CCAA doubleheader at UC San Diego on Wednesday.
The Coyotes lost the opener 4-3 when UC San Diego scored the winning run in the seventh.
CSUSB, now 11-7 overall and 7-5 in the CCAA, will play Sonoma State in a four-game series that begins Friday.

Britney Butler, who reached on a single.
UCSD grabbed the lead with a three-run third inning, but the Coyotes came back with single runs in the fifth and tied the game in the sixth.
Flores got her second RBI of the game on a ground-out that scored
Alex Mitchell, who reached on an error.
In the sixth,
Priscilla Curiel tied the game at 3-3 when she scored on an error by the first baseman.
Curiel and
Jacquelyn Holtzclaw each had two hits in the first game.
