Box Score: CSU Stanislaus 90, Coyotes 82
TURLOCK -- Senior
Danielle Shows scored the most points for the Coyotes in three seasons, but Cal State Stanislaus posted a 90-82 win over the Coyotes in California Collegiate Athletic Association women's basketball Friday.
Shows scored 31 points with 20 rebounds on 12 of 20 shooting as the Coyotes dropped to 17-5 overall and 13-5 in the CCAA. That offensive output is the most for a Coyote since former All-American Vanessa Wilt scored 32 points against Ferris State on Dec. 29, 2007.
Shows' 20 rebounds are the most for CSUSB since Amanda Raigins pulled down 21 against Humboldt State last season.
Shows earned her third double-double of the season at the 13-minute mark in the first half, but the Warriors (12-11, 10-9) were an offensive machine.
Their 90 points were the most scored against the Coyotes this season and the most scored against CSUSB since UC San Diego's 96-68 win during the 2005-06 season.
Andreanna Marshall shared game-high scoring honors with Shows at 31.
The Coyotes look to bounce back against Chico State on Saturday. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m.
