CARSON -- Jessica Dela Cruz scored 17 points and Angela Streets added 16 points and nine rebounds Saturday night to lead Cal State San Bernardino to a 63-57 CCAA conference women's basketball victory over host Cal State Dominguez Hills.

The win improved the Coyotes to 1-1 in conference and 2-3 overall. The Toros dropped to 0-2, 1-7 overall.

Kenisha McKee had 11 points and five rebounds for CSUSB.

CSUSB shot 39 percent from the field (21 of 54) and just 27 percent from the three-point line (4 of 15) but sank 17 of 25 free throws for 68 percent. The Coyotes built their largest lead at 11 points with 3:55 left in the first half and led 36-27 at the break.

Zipporah Brown led the Toros with 14 points and eight rebounds.
