Obi Agwu gave his team the necessary edge with a first-half goal and sophomore goalkeeper 
Tanner Olinger kept his shutout streak alive as the No. 3 CSU San Bernardino men's soccer team defeated host Cal State L.A., 2-0, on Friday night and clinched the CCAA South Division title.
The victory places CSUSB, now 13-3-1 overall and 11-3-1 in the CCAA South, in next week's CCAA Tournament in Turlock. The Coyotes will play on Friday against an to be determined opponent.
Agwu, the Alta Loma native, scored his 12th goal of the season in the 28th minute on an unassisted play. He set up off the free kick from the top of the box and worked it left post.

Juan Galarza scored in the game's 78th minute on a feed from freshman 
Corey Hostetter.
Olinger recorded his fifth straight shutout and kept his scoreless streak to 522 minutes and 13 seconds. It was his ninth shutout this season and he improved his record to 10-3-1.
The key sequence of the game came in the 62nd minute. Olinger stopped a penalty kick, the rebound then hit the post and the following shot flew over the the net.
CSUSB will wrap up the regular season at CSU Dominguez Hills on Sunday.
