Box Score: No. 16 Coyotes tied UC San Diego 1-1 (2OT)

LA JOLLA -- Senior Obi Agwu put the No. 16 Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes men's soccer team on the scoreboard early, but the night ended with a 1-1 tie against host UC San Diego in CCAA men's play.

The Coyotes are now 6-2-1 and 4-2-1 in the CCAA South as they next face Cal State East Bay on Sunday in Hayward.

Agwu (Alta Loma) scored this season's sixth goal in just the first 80 seconds of the game. He broke free and beat an approaching Jesse Brennan and CSUSB held an early 1-0 lead.

The teams were tied at 1-1 at the break as the Tritons' Kian Malek tied the game in the 34th minute.

Both squads would battle scoreless the rest of the way. Each team totaled four shots in the combined OT, but UC San Diego mustered the only SOG -- the Coyotes' Tanner Olinger's fourth on the night.

Agwu had seven shots on the night and three SOGs, while teammate Albert Cabrera had five shots and two SOG.

UCSD is now 2-4-3, 2-3-2.
