CARSON -- Cal State San Bernardino pounded out 23 hits Friday in an 18-2 non-conference victory over winless Academy of Art University, a first-year NCAA Div. II program competing in the Pacific West Conference in a game played at Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Six CSUSB pitchers went to the mound, combining for 11 strikeouts while allowing nine hits by the Urban Knights, now 0-23 on the season.
The Coyotes resume CCAA play on Friday, starting a four-game series at Sonoma State. The Coyotes are 12-11 in conference play.
