   2008: Beltran appeared in 17 games with 11 starts, batting .250 with 12 hits in 48 plate appearances. He had two doubles, a home run and six runs batted in. He handled 17 chances in the field with one error for a .941 fielding percentage.
     BEFORE CAL STATE: Beltran played baseball at Victor Valley College in Victorville. He warned the "Golden Glove" award.
     HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2002 graduate of Hesperia High School where he played four years of baseball, earning all-league honors. He also played one year of soccer.
    PERSONAL: Beltran is a kinesiology major who is seeking a career as a teacher and coach at the collegiate Division I level.  His hobbies are golf, running, working out, snowboarding, going to the beac. He enjoys being with friends and family.  His parents are Jesus and Rosa Beltran.
   MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT --  Getting the game-winning hit to send us to the playoffs in high school.       
    WHY I CHOSE CSUSB -- It's close to home and family and it has a good program for my major.
