Biography

   UC RIVERSIDE: Walker played three years as a midfielder for the Highlanders of the Division I Big West Conference, helping them to an overall record of 14-33-11 from 2006 through 2008. He appeared in 57 matches, 44 of them starts. His best season was 2007 when he scored three goals and assisted on two others for eight of his 10 career points. One of his goals was a match-winner against UC Irvine. He played in 51 consecutive matches in his three years at UCR.
    HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2006 graduate of Alta Loma High School where he played four seasons for former CSUSB soccer player Ryan McConnell. The Braves were three-time league champions during his career there and advanced to CIF playoffs all four years. He was the Baseline League MVP and first-team all-CIF as a junior and senior and a member of the 2004 US Club Soccer national champion team (Arsenal FC).
    PERSONAL: Walker is a communications major with plans for a shot at pro soccer and being a sports writer after graduation. Hobbies/Interests: Movies, reading, guitar, hiking. His parents are Danny and Linda Walker. He has two older sisters, Stephanie and Katie.
