As a sophomore in 2011: Solid offensive season for the Coyotes... Appeared in 17 games with 14 starts... Scored two goals (both game-winners), led the team in assists with four and registered most shots (21) and SOG (11) on the squad... Gave the Coyotes their first goal in 2-0 win at Cal Poly Pomona... Scored the decisive goal and added an assist in the 3-1 win over Cal State East Bay... Dealt assists in wins over Notre Dame de Namur, Chico State and SF State.

As a freshman in 2010: Appeared in 19 games with six starts… Earned starts in CCAA Tourney game vs. Sonoma State and NCAA Tourney game vs. Grand Canyon… Totaled 16 shots with six SOG… Scored one goal with three assists on the season… Scored first career goal in the 3-0 win over Colorado State-Pueblo in Phoenix… Breakout game arrived vs. visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills. Against the perennial national contender, had three assists in the 4-0 win against the Toros.

At Kaiser HS: Played two seasons of soccer, graduated in 2010… Helped the Kats reach CIF semifinals as a senior… Saw club action with Celtic FC, West Coast FC and Arsenal FC.

Personal: Son of Gilberto and Elsa Martinez… Family includes four children… Lives on Subway sandwiches and Snickers… Most memorable sports moment was CSUSB’s 4-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills in 2010.
