As a freshman in 2010: Played a pivotal role in helping the Coyotes to their second consecutive NCAA Tourney berth… Appeared in 20 games with 19 starts at defender including the CCAA Tourney game against Sonoma State and NCAA Tourney game vs. Grand Canyon… Totaled six shots with three SOG… Named honorable mention All-CCAA… Adapted to his studies well and earned CCAA All-Academic honors.

At Los Osos HS: Played three varsity seasons, graduated in 2010… Named Baseline League MVP, All-CIF and all-valley first team as a senior… Three-time All-Baseline League first-team selection and two-time team MVP… Helped team win the league title as a sophomore and senior… Played club soccer for Arsenal FC.

Personal: Son of John and Patricia Nishanian… Older sister Nicole attends CSUSB… Health science major… Would like to one day become a physicians assistant… Enjoys watching sports, listening to music and hanging out with friends… Says flaming, hot Cheetos are his favorite snack.
