Biography

2006: McDermott played in six of the team’s 19 matches. 

HIGH SCHOOL: The 2006 graduate of Etiwanda High School played four years of soccer for Coach Bobby Macovick, earning first-team, all-league and MVP honors. 

PERSONAL: McDermott is an accounting major with hopes of playing professional soccer.. He enjoys video games, basketball and music. His father is John H. McDermott. He has one sibling. 

FAVORITES: Fast food – Baker’s Drive-Thru; Treat – gummy bears; TV program – Rob & Big; Movie – “Wedding Crashers”; Music – Kanye West; Meal – anything with seafood; Class – Kinesiology 190. 

MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT – Scoring winning goal in quarterfinals of national club tournament. 

MOST EMBARRASSING SPORTS MOMENT – Scoring an own goal in my very first game.
