At Taft College: Played two seasons for the Cougars … Named team captain his sophomore season.

At Cesar Chavez HS: Played four seasons of varsity for the Titans … Named team captain in three of those seasons.

Personal: Son of Victor Cruz and Norma Basilio … Kinesiology major … Loves In-N-Out and ice cream … Says his favorite movie is The Hangover, which was partially filmed near the CSUSB campus … Enjoys his mathematics classes.
