As a junior: Named the 2010 AVCA and Daktronics National Player of the Year… Became the first Coyote and first player in the history of the CCAA to earn that status… Selected as her sport’s representative for the 2011 Honda Award, given to the most outstanding Division II female athlete… Joined former Coyotes’ Kim Morohunfola (2003) and Brianna Harris (2004) as AVCA Players of the Year… Named CCAA Player of the Year and the Daktronics and AVCA West Region Player of the Year… Named CSUSB's Female Student-Athlete of the Year... Led the nation in hitting percentage with a school and conference record .480 average. (270 kills/50 errors/458 attacks)… Also finished the year ranked 17th in blocks at 1.18 per set… Guided the Coyotes to their third straight NCAA Finals appearance and fifth in the last eight seasons… Named NCAA West Region All-Tourney… Ranks 2nd in CSUSB career hitting percentage at .399 (695-170-1317)… Ranks 4th in career points (937.5)… Threw down six service aces vs. Sonoma State (9/25/10), tied for third most in single match in CSUSB history… Reached a hitting percentage above .500 in 13 matches… Had 10 block assists against SFSU (10/15/10), second most in school history… Hit .412 (27-6-51) at the NCAA West Region Tourney, in which CSUSB swept its way in three matches to the Elite Eight… Tied school record with .900 attack percentage (9-0-10) in three-game sweep over UC San Diego (11/13/10).

As a sophomore: Named to the 2009 AVCA All-American first team… Selected to the AVCA and Daktronics All-West Region teams… Named All-CCAA first team… Led the CCAA in blocks per set at 1.03 and was third in the conference in hitting percentage at .358… Was in the top 50 in the nation in both blocks per set and hitting percentage… Ripped a career-high 15 kills and posted four blocks and three digs against Tampa (Fla.) in the NCAA Tournament… Posted a career-high nine blocks and had 11 kills against San Francisco State… Recorded at least six blocks in seven different matches… Served a season-high three aces and had 11 kills in the first match of the season against Ashland (Ohio).

As a freshman: Appeared in 32 matches, starting 25 (81 sets) in 2008… Averaged 1.57 kills per set on .348 hitting with a team-high 81 blocks, including 12 solo blocks, an average of 1.0 blocks per set… Had a season-high nine blocks against Cal State L.A. and a season-high 13 kills on .524 hitting against Concordia-St. Paul in the NCAA title match

At Rialto Carter HS: Earned All-Citrus Belt League honors in volleyball in both 2007 and 2008… Placed first in the high jump at the CBL meet in 2007.

Personal: Daughter of Dale and Marilyn Middleborn… Anthropology major… Would like to professionally overseas after graduation… Member of European touring group that played throughout Italy in May 2011.
