2006: Rice started 28 of the team’s 29 matches and ranked No. 2 in total blocks (84) and led the team in solo blocks with 13, averaging 1.0 per game. She averaged 1.18 blocks per game in the NCAA Pacific Regional. She earned all-CCAA second team honors.

2005: In her freshman season, Rice appeared in five matches, starting twice for a total of 11 games. She had 13 total blocks, averaging 1.18 blocks per game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Rice played four years of volleyball at Yucaipa High School, graduating in 2005. She earned all-Citrus Belt League honors and was the team’s top offensive player in 2004 and 2005.

PERSONAL: She is a business major. Away from the sport she enjoys snowboarding, going to the beach and the Colorado River. Her parents are Doug and Kim Rice. She has one sibling.

MOST EMBARRASING MOMENT – Going up to hit the ball and missing as it hit my head.
