As a junior: Saw action in nine matches and 11 games in 2010… Had two kills, both coming against Cal State Stanislaus (10/2/10)… Outstanding student, who earned 2010-11 CCAA All-Academic honors.

At Westmont (2008-09): Started 19 of the 40 matches (101 sets) she played in two years for the Warriors… Ripped 66 kills as a sophomore and 32 kills as a freshman.

At Riverside Poly HS: Lettered three seasons and graduated in 2008… Received All-Ivy League honorable mention honors… A two-time Academic All-Ivy League Selection… Helped team reach the CIF Southern Section semifinals… Played one season of varsity basketball.

Personal: Daughter of Richard and Beth Barton… Business administration major with a marketing emphasis... Would like to join family business upon graduation... Youngest of five siblings -- four brothers and one sister (Amy), who was a 2001 All-American setter for the Coyotes… Father played basketball at Harvey Mudd and UC Riverside before playing for the Atlanta Hawks… Older brothers, Paul, Mark and Derek attended the University of Utah, where Mark played football (1990-93) and Paul played baseball and eventually played in the Toronto Blue Jays organization.
