SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The California State University San Bernardino baseball team will open the 2026 NCAA Division II West Regional on Thursday against the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos at Carroll B. Land Stadium on the campus of Point Loma Nazarene University.

CSUSB is 2–4 against Cal Poly Pomona this season. The Broncos swept the regular-season series. However, the Coyotes responded by winning two matchups in the CCAA Tournament, including the championship game.
How They Got Here
CSUSB comes into the game at 27–25 after capturing the CCAA Tournament title on Saturday with a win over Cal Poly Pomona. It marks the program's first CCAA Tournament championship since 2002 and its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2023.
The Broncos come in at 30–23 after finishing third in the CCAA regular-season standings with an 18–14 conference record. They fell to CSUSB in the CCAA Championship.

Cal Poly Pomona is paced by first-team All-CCAA selections Jack Sanders, Anthony Vasquez, and Andrew Campbell. Either Campbell or Vasquez is expected to get the start for the Broncos.
