SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. -  Kacie Pedersen (Riverside, Calif.), a junior outside hitter on the California State University San Bernardino women's volleyball team, was named to a pair of All-West Region teams on Wednesday.

Pedersen was named to the First Team All-Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association, and was a Second Team selection by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.

She has averaged a team-high 4.32 kills per set on the season, with an attack percentage of .252. She has also notched 33 service aces, 278 digs, and 37 blocks.

Pedersen helped lift the Coyotes to a CCAA Tournament Championship last month, and was named the Tournament Most Valuable Player. She was CSUSB's lone First Team All-Conference selection by the CCAA.

Pedersen and the Coyotes earned the CCAA's lone bid to the NCAA Tournament, and will play Point Loma in San Diego on Thursday. First serve is slated for 4:30 p.m.
