SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The California State University San Bernardino men's basketball team took down Stanislaus State by a final score of 65-52 Thursday night in CCAA action at Coussoulis Arena.
With the win, the Coyotes improve to 12-6 overall on the season and 5-4 in the CCAA.
History was made on the very first bucket of the game, as a three-ball from senior
Charlie Henderson (Ladera Ranch, Calif.) gave him 1,000 points in his collegiate career.Â
The Yotes and Warriors would go on to have a tight opening 20 minutes after the Henderson bucket. Cal State San Bernardino led for the majority of the half, however a late 10-0 run from the visitors drew the game to 26-25 CSUSB by the halftime horn.
Andrew Henderson (Chatsworth, Calif.) led all players with eight points and six boards in the opening half, while
Charlie Henderson posted seven points and four boards.
CSUSB began to pull away in the second half thanks to six made three-pointers compared to just one from Stanislaus State.

Jordan Jones (Macon, Ga.) combined to go 4-of-5 with 10 and eight points respectively in the second half to help guide the Coyotes over the top.
Charlie Henderson finished as the game's leading scorer with 17 points, while graduate student
Evan Oliver (San Bernardino, Calif.) posted 13 points, five assists, and four steals.
Andrew Henderson and Jones finished in double figures with 11 and 10 points respectively.Â

Next up for the Yotes, they will return to action on Saturday for a CCAA contest against Cal State Monterey Bay. Tip-off from Coussoulis Arena is slated for 1 p.m.
