IRVINE, Calif. - The #12 California State University San Bernardino saw its season-opening three-match unbeaten streak come to an end on Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 loss to Concordia University Irvine in non-conference action at Golden Eagles Field.
With the defeat, CSUSBÂ falls to 1-1-2.
CUI scored the only two goals of the first half just 50 seconds apart in the 37th and 38th minutes to take command of the contest. Just two and a half minutes after the second goal, the Yotes went down to 10 men, further putting the visitors behind the eight-ball.
The only goal of the second half came from the Golden Eagles in the 72nd minute to put the contest out of reach at 3-0.

Aiden Hanes (Riverside, Calif.) took the loss for CSUSB, making four saves in 79 minutes of action.
CSUSB returns to the pitch on Friday evening on the road at Azusa Pacific University. Kickoff in the final non-conference matchup of the season is slated for 7 p.m.
