SAN MARCOS, Calif. - The California State University San Bernardino men's basketball team soared past Cal State San Marcos by a final score of 80-61 in CCAA action Saturday afternoon at The Sports Center.
With the victory, the Coyotes sweep their weekend road trip and improve to 16-5 overall and 11-4 in the CCAA. They have now won six of their last seven contests.
The Yotes led for the majority of the first half, but took just a five-point lead into the locker room, ahead 33-28. The largest surge of the half was an 8-0 run that began when the score was knotted at 10-10, propelled by a pair of buckets by senior LeAndrew Knight (Lompoc, Calif.). 
Knight, Evan Guillory (Springfield, Mo.), and Robby Robinson (San Diego, Calif.) each had six points in the first half to pace San Bernardino.
San Marcos tied the game at 39-39 four minutes into the second half, but were never able to overtake the visitors. The Yotes responded however with a 21-8 run, taking a 60-47 lead with 9:47 to play, and never looked back, scoring 47 second half points to cruise to the conference win.
Robinson scored 18 of his game-high 24 points after the intermission to lift San Bernardino. He also pulled down 17 boards (seven offensive) for a monster double-double. Knight also notched a double-double in the victory, posting 16 points and 12 boards. Senior Sedrick Altman (Rialto, Calif.) had a solid showing for CSUSB, scoring 12 points while dishing out six assists.
Next up for the Yotes, they will return home to take on Cal Poly Humboldt on Thursday evening. Tip-off from Coussoulis Arena is slated for 7:30 p.m.
