SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Due to water damage caused by Hurricane Hilary, Coussoulis Arena will not be operational to start the 2023 volleyball season. All 12 games of the Yotes Classic Showcase will be relocated from Coussoulis Arena to The Den.
 
For the second straight year, the natural elements have overcome CSUSB's efforts to protect the arena, leading to damaged flooring. Unlike last season, which saw volleyball and both basketball teams play their entire season in The Den, the CSUSB volleyball team hopes to return to Coussoulis Arena later this fall.
 
The #19 Yotes open the season against an impressive field of competition, with five of the six teams competing in the Yotes Classic Showcase being ranked in the AVCA Top 25. The Yotes' first match will take place this Thursday, August 31^st, at 7:30 PM against #15 Western Washington. You can watch the game in person at The Den, or catch the action on the CCAA Network.
