CARY, NC – The NCAA announced the seeding of the remaining eight teams headed to Cary, NC on Sunday morning. Cal State San Bernardino was ranked No. 5, pairing them against No. 4 Rollins College in the opening game of the tournament. The Yotes enter the World Series with a program-best 43-17 record. They have won all five games of the NCAA Tournament thus far, including a 3-0 sweep of the regionals at Fiscalini Field and a 2-0 sweep of Cal State Monterey Bay in the super regionals.

Out of the seven other teams in Cary, the Yotes have only ever faced Southern New Hampshire. In 2019, CSUSB took two of three games against the Penmen in the second series of the season at Fiscalini Field. Other than those three games, CSUSB has never faced any of the other six opponents. Furthermore, they are 0-0 against common opponents this season.
