IRVINE, CA – The Yotes struggled to get their offense going in a need-to-win situation against the Eagles of Biola University. They recorded six hits throughout the day but would strand eight runners on base. The only run of the game came on a single through the left side by the Eagles in the third inning. With this loss, what was an incredible season for the Yotes will come to an end.
Through two days of competition,
Samantha Vargas held opponents to just two runs in 15.1 innings pitched. She finishes the season with 115 strikeouts and a 19-14 record.
