THE YOTES BLOW OUT THE GOLDEN EAGLES, ENTERING THE CCAA 4-0

San Bernardino, Calif. – On Wednesday, the Yotes dominated the Golden Eagles with a decisive victory, securing a score of 112-50.

San Bernardino, Calif. – On Wednesday, the Yotes dominated the Golden Eagles with a decisive victory, securing a score of 112-50. 
 
This marks the first occasion this season that the Yotes have surpassed the 100-point mark in a single game. As the CSUSB men's basketball team enters the CCAA, they stand as one of the two unbeaten teams, the other being Chico State.
 
Jalen Flanagan and Robby Robinson led the scoring for the Yotes, each contributing 13 points. Flanagan showcased near-perfect shooting form, going 5-for-7 from the field and 3-for-3 beyond the arc. Similarly, Robinson went 5-for-7 from the field and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line, in addition to recording five assists.
 
Jimmy Reyes, a transfer from Saddleback College, made the most of his 12 minutes of playtime, achieving a perfect shooting record in the game by going 4-for-4 from the field and 3-for-3 beyond the arc. 
 
Sedrick Altman, Evan Guillory, and Chris Mitchell combined for 29 points in the game, with Guillory also leading the Yotes in rebounds with six.
 
The Yotes reached a season high with 57 points coming from the bench. Additionally, it was evident that the Yotes' defense played a significant role in their success, contributing 35 points from turnovers.
 
Overall, the Yotes posted impressive shooting statistics, hitting 57.3% from the field and 44.4% beyond the arc marking the highest shooting percentages of the season so far. They made 16 three-pointers in the game, the most threes so far in the season.
