SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The Yotes (3-0) claimed victory against their first PacWest opponent of the season, the Biola Eagles (1-2), with a final score of 65-58.
The Yotes started the game with intensity, embarking on a 9-point run within the first 4 minutes. Although Biola struggled to contain the Yotes' offense, the Eagles managed to briefly take the lead only once during the game.
Four Yotes players scored over 10 points, with
Evan Guillory leading the pack at 17 points. Guillory made 6-of-13 field goals and 1-of-3 beyond the arc, while also contributing 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

With eight and a half minutes left in the game, the Eagles narrowed the gap, with Milovich scoring eight points in a three-minute stretch, giving Biola the lead for the first time at 57-56.
The Yotes swiftly reclaimed the lead after a crucial rebound from
Chris Mitchell, one of seven in the game. Mitchell advanced up the court, delivering a pass to Altman, who narrowly missed the layup. However, Guillory secured the rebound and converted it into a basket. Robinson continued the Yotes' offensive dominance with a powerful drive inside, earning an and-one bucket and putting the Yotes up 61-57.
In the final two minutes of the game, the Yotes conceded only one more point. Guillory's and-one, coupled with a Robinson free throw, concluded the scoring for the Yotes. Altman's steal in the last 12 seconds sealed the victory for the Yotes.
