SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Six members of the CSUSB women's volleyball team received recognition in the CCAA's end of season awards on Wednesday night.
Senior
Lydia Morohunfola and sophomore
Ashley Robinson were named All-CCAA First Team, both receiving the honor for the first time in their collegiate career. Morohunfola ranks fifth in the country and first in the conference in hitting percentage at .414 on the season. Robinson leads the Yotes with 268 kills on the season, averaging 3.39 kills per set.
Setter
Marlee Nunley, libero
Makena Overbey, and middle blocker
Jenna Patton all received All-CCAA Second Team honors. Nunley had previously been named All-CCAA First Team and Overbey had previously been named All-CCAA Second Team.
Rounding out the awards for the Yotes is
Asia Clarke, who received an honorable mention.
The Yotes will take on No. 23 Cal Poly Pomona in the CCAA Tournament this Friday, November 11
th, in a 3:00 PM match in San Marcos, CA. The winner of this match will advance to the championship on Saturday.
