TURLOCK, Calif. – The No. 13 CSUSB women's volleyball team fell to Stanislaus State on Saturday night in five sets, snapping their six-match winning streak. With the loss, the Yotes fall to 15-4 on the season with a 9-3 record in CCAA play, tied for third place in the conference standings.
After falling 23-25 in the first set, the Yotes rebounded to take the second and third sets 26-24 and 25-17. The Warriors then won the fourth set 25-17, forcing a fifth and final set where the Yotes ultimately fell just short by a score of 12-15.
Ashley Robinson and
Asia Clarke led the attack, teaming up for 30 of the Yotes' 55 kills. Robinson also recorded a season-high 22 digs.
CCAA Setter of the Week
Marlee Nunley collected 46 assists, the third time the junior has eclipsed 40 or more assists in a game this season.
