"It is hard to find the right words for this game," head coach Mark Peters said. "For a lot of the match we weren't getting the performance we wanted. I thought the fatigue from having only a single days rest really showed early on, which made the late comeback all the more impressive. The character in this group is incredible but we know there is still plenty of of work to be done."
Goalkeeper Luna would finish the match with eight total saves including a critical PK stop that also included the rebound block.
The Yotes (2-1) end a busy week at home against to Azusa Pacific on Saturday at 3 pm for their home opener.
