SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Heading into this matchup, the Yotes held an overall record of 15-8 against the Stanislaus State Warriors.
The first half was a battle in every possession. There was seven ties and seven lead changes. The largest lead the Yotes held was eight points and the largest lead for Stanislaus State was 10 points. CSUSB forced nine turnovers and had three fast break points. The Yotes collected four steals and had four points off turnovers.
Brandon Knapper was on target with four three pointers in the first half. Daytone Jenning forced his way into the paint, ending the half with 14 points. With the several lead changes, the score was tied heading into halftime, 39-39.
The second half was just as exciting as the first. There was 11 ties and 12 lead changes in the second half. The Yotes defense forced six turnovers and had two blocks. CSUSB scored big in the paint, knocking down 36 points from down low. They also had 26 rebounds and 14 second chance points.
The Yotes shot .50 percent from the three-point line and .75 percent on free throws. CSUSB took the momentum and controlled the pace with the biggest lead of 15 points on the night. The Yotes took the win decisively, 87-72.

Brandon Knapper who scored 32 points and went 6-10 from beyond the arc for a .60 percent from three-point range. Next leader in scoring was
Daytone Jennings who collected a double-double with 24 points, 16 rebounds and four assists.
