For the 21^st time, the Yotes earned an appearance in the NCAA West Region Championship and seeded No. 1, the event will be held in Coussoulis Arena.
 
In CSUSB's 33-0 run to National Champions in 2019, the Yotes hosted the NCAA West Region Championship, but with Coussoulis Arena in the process of being remodeled, the event was held in The Den.
 
Closing the regular season and CCAA championships, the Yotes grabbed an overall record of 25-3. On the way to their 2021 CCAA Championship title, CSUSB went undefeated in CCAA competition, 18-0.
 
In their first match, No. 1 seed Yotes will take on No. 8 seed University of Alaska. CSUSB has tightened some loose ends and are currently holding a streak of 22 wins. The University of Alaska Seawolves currently hold an overall record of 19-11. They also hold a win streak of two matches.
 
The NCAA West Region Championship hosts the top eight teams in the west region. The tournament will be held in Coussoulis Arena, December 2^nd – 4^th. The event will conclude on Saturday December 4^th with the championship match beginning at 7:30pm.
