SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Yotes finished the season with a record of (9-4-3; 7-2-2 CCAA) sealing a hosting spot in the playoffs. CSUSB finished in third place in the CCAA conference, which was a one place jump from 2019, when they finished in fourth.
The Yotes take on the Chico State Wildcats this Sunday at 12 pm on Premier Field in the CCAA First Round. Live stream on ccaanetwork.com.
Admission is $5 per person. ALL TICKET PURCHASES must be done in advance at goccaa.org/Tickets, available beginning Friday morning. There will be NO CASH SALES at the entrance gate. QR Codes to purchase tickets on a mobile device will be available at the entrance gate for the CCAA Tournament First Round game on Sunday. The match is also free on the CCAA Network.

The first 100 CSUSB students will be free courtesy of the Division of Student Affairs. Students must show their Coyote ID at the gate.
CSUSB had a great finish to the season, winning four of their last five matches. The greatest game of the season was Thursday November 4
th on Premier Field. The Yotes took on Cal State San Marcos and their defense in
Andres Aguirre,
Rigo Aguilar,
Tony Di Donato,
Juan Larios, and
Neil Gillies kept the Cougars scoreless. CSUSB's defense collected six shut-outs on the season.
Leading in goals for the Yotes is
Gerardo Flores who tallied nine on the season.
Francisco Sierra and
Kevin Aguilar both added three goal each.
Juan Nieves played in every match this season collecting 49 saves.
In
Josh Hill's first season he was able to bring a team together who have not competed in over a year. In the return to athletics, Hill built a foundation of mental toughness and fortitude that led them to a third-place finish.
"We are all excited to be part of the CCAA Tournament and we truly believe it is up for grabs" said coach
Josh Hill. "We have to take it one match at a time, but we are optimistic about our team's opportunity to extend the season. Every team we saw this year was good, but we are ready to battle it out and take on the first round this Sunday at noon on the Premier Field."
