SAN BERNARDINO, Calif - Starting off the triple home feature the Yotes was women's soccer as they faced off with San Francisco State. Going onto Premier Field the weather was on and off rain and a light drizzle. In the misty atmosphere, the Gators took the win, 3-1.
The Gators were first to score in the ninth minute. They would soon find the back of the net again at the 17
th minute. San Francisco State would lead, 2-0 going into the half.
As a team the Yotes took fourteen shots, with five of them on target. Kayla Cebellos finished the game with four saves. Nathaly Lumui had four shots on the game and
Emelie Peraza collected two.
The start of the second half we saw the Gators hit their last goal in the 56
th minute.
Danielle Landrum hit a goal for the Yotes at almost midfield off on an assist by
Vidalia Abarca in the 60
th minute. CSUSB defense in Landrum,
Natalie Treto,
Alaina O'Connell and
Rebeca Cruz were able to keep San Francisco State out of the net for the remainder of the game. The Gators sealed the win, 3-1.
