SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Before the match we celebrated our seniors Daniella Landrum,
Isabel Garay, Reyna Vandamme, and
Sarah Savella and the contributions they have made on and off the field. This match was defense focused and ended in a tie in overtime, 0-0.
In the first half the Monterey Bay Otters put the pressure on the Yotes and went for seven shots.
Carly Luna collected four saves on the first half alone. CSUSB was not able to break the Otters defense and were held to two shots. The Yotes were able to hold off CSUMB and going into halftime, the score was 0-0.
The second half was similar to the first. The Otters tested the Yotes defense and CSUSB did not falter.

Alaina O'Connell, and
Rebekka Bogan kept the Otters to only two shots. Luna had another amazing half, and collected two more saves. With both teams playing full force defensively, the game went into overtime!
Niether team was able to score in overtime. The Yotes were only able to take one shot. The match went into double-overtime. Once again, no goals were scored in double-overtime. Luna ended the match with six saves.

Valerie Warren each finished the match with one shot each.
"Today was a fun match with each team having good spells during the game" said coach
Mark Peters. "We would have loved to grab a win on senior day, but a point will have to do. Looking forward to our rematch against CSU San Marcos on Thursday to finish the season."
