SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The Yotes kept the Cal State LA Golden Eagles out of the net for the majority of the first half. It wasn't until a penalty kick by the Golden Eagles did, they score winning, 1-0.
The first half the Yotes were neck and neck with Cal State LA. CSUSB collected three shots with the Golden Eagles taking four. Three of the shots for the Yotes were on-goal and Cal State LA had two shots-on-goal. It was this half that the Golden Eagles took a penalty shot taking the lead into the half, 1-0.
The second half was similar to the first with both teams taking the same number of shots as they did the first half. Yotes defense in
Danielle Landrum,
Alaina O'Connell,
Rebekka Bogan, and
Rebeca Cruz kept Cal State LA scoreless in the second half. This would not be enough for CSUSB as the Golden Eagles took the win, 1-0.
Goalkeeper
