TURLOCK – The No. 23 CSUSB Coyotes took care of business on Thursday night at Stanislaus State, winning 78-70.
Jeremy Smith scored a team-high 25,
Daytone Jennings added 18,
Andres Villa scored 17, and
Jordan Mitchell had 14.
Tyrell Henderson added nine rebounds and a block to fuel the Yotes.
The Yotes shot 52 percent from the field, and made 22 of their 28 foul shots on the road. The led on the glass 40-34 in a game they led for 35 minutes. The Warriors led 46-45 with 14 minutes left in the second half, but the Yotes finished it from there.
The Coyotes (18-4, 13-3 CCAA) are on another win streak, this one at four games, and will travel to Humboldt State on Saturday night at 7:30 pm. Live links are on CSUSBathletics.com.
