SAN BERNARDINO – The CSUSB Yotes fell 0-2 on Friday night in a well-played game against Cal Poly Pomona.
Neither team committed an error and the pitching duel yielded just 10 total hits. CSUSB starter
Blake Timm pitched well, allowing just four hits, two solo home runs, with three K's.
John Pfeffer allowed two hits and no runs over the final two innings.
The Yotes (5-11, 2-8 CCAA) had four hits and a couple early scoring chances before Bronco (9-5, 7-2 CCAA) starter Gavin Velasquez got in a groove.
