CARSON – The CSUSB Coyotes fell 63-78 at CSU Dominguez Hills on Saturday night.
The Yotes were outscored in the first three quarters and chipped away in the fourth but could not make up the difference.
Kayla Bibb scored 24 points and
Tehya Burroughs had 13.
Tatianna Russell added nine and
Emily Herring had eight as both grabbed six rebounds to lead the team.
The Yotes (3-20, 3-17 CCAA) did score 26 points in the paint and had only eight turnovers against the Toros (11-15, 8-12 CCAA).
The Coyotes will return home to finish the season next week as they host CSU Monterey Bay on Thursday at 5:30 pm. Live links are on CSUSBathletics.com.
