SAN BERNARDINO – The CSUSB Coyotes dominated start to finish in a 74-48 win over visiting CSU Monterey Bay on Thursday night.
Ashlynn Sharp led with 16 points, hitting four-of-eight threes.
Nina Wallace added 14,
Tehya Burroughs scored 12, and
Tatianna Russell added 10 with 14 boards for the double-double. The Coyotes shot 44 percent and held CSUMB to 33 percent shooting.
The Yotes (4-20, 4-17 CCAA) forced 18 turnovers for 19 points and scored 32 points in the paint with 18 assists, led by seven from Wallace and five from Sharp. They outscored the Otters (6-17, 6-15 CCAA) in every quarter and held them to single-digit scoring in the first two quarters.
They led by double-digits after one quarter and never looked back. They will look to finish the season on a high note on Saturday as they host CSU East Bay for Senior Night. Live links are on CSUSBathletics.com.
