LOS ANGELES – The CSUSB Coyotes fell on the road on Thursday night at Cal State LA, 63-75.
 
The Yotes (19-6, 14-5 CCAA) trailed by eight at half but could not make up the difference against LA (12-13, 7-12 CCAA).
 
Andres Villa led the Yotes with 16 points and 13 rebounds.  Tyrell Henderson also had a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.  Daytone Jennings also had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.  Jeremy Smith scored 14 with eight boards.
 
The first half was tight but LA finished on a 6-0 run, the Yotes got the lead down to seven twice in the last four minutes of the game, but could not crawl closer.  The Coyotes dominated the glass, 57-30, but LA made 12 threes on the night. 
 
CSUSB will look to get back on the winning track on Saturday night at 7:30 pm at CSU Dominguez Hills.  Live links are on CSUSBathletics.com.
