SAN BERNARDINO – The CSUSB Coyotes led but eventually fell to visiting Chico State on Saturday evening, 65-74.
 
Kayla Bibb led the way with 20 points and 13 rebounds for the double-double.  Tatianna Russell added 15 points and Ashlynn Sharp matched that at 15 points.  Nina Wallace scored nine.  The Yotes hit seven threes, led by Sharp with five.
 
With 3:27 left in the third quarter the Yotes (3-18, 3-15 CCAA) led 50-48 on a layup from Russell.  It was still a two-point game with four minutes left in regulation but Chico State (14-10, 10-8 CCAA) pulled away.  The Yotes shot a better percentage at 42 percent.
